Colts strong safety Mike Doss could miss the team's first-round playoff game because of a sprained left ankle.
Doss, the Colts' third-leading tackler, missed Sunday's game at Houston after hurting the ankle in a 31-17 loss to Denver on Dec. 21. The Colts (12-4) face Denver (10-6) in a rematch Sunday.
Coach Tony Dungy said Monday that Doss would be a gametime decision.

``It's going to be tight,'' Dungy said. ``He ran before the game (against Houston)
and there's no way he could have played. We'll have to see this week.''
Doss, a second-round draft pick in April, has 101 tackles and one interception this season -- and a reputation for making big hits. He also has been a big contributor on the Colts' special teams with 13 tackles.
The only other significant injury was to linebacker Marcus Washington, the Colts' fourth-leading tackler. It was announced during Sunday's game that Washington had bruised ribs and X-rays were negative.
But after the game Washington said he had pain in his shoulder.
Dungy said he expected Washington to play against Denver. Washington has 97 tackles and six sacks and three forced fumbles.
``At this point, they think
he'll be OK,'' Dungy said.
